I knew coming to work this morning that I’d probably be working late tonight. I am. Fortunately, Mr. BIL’s expectations are better than mine – he thinks I can be out of here by 6:30 p.m., which would be great since that would mean I’d get to take CootieGirl to the pool for an hour before they close at 8 p.m. However, I’m not holding out much hope given the amount of work that needs to be done between now and Wednesday at noon when he leaves for a conference on the coastal side of the state.
Tomorrow night CootieGirl is getting her haircut – I’ve decided NOT to have Debbie cut her hair super short. I tried talking about it with CootieGirl every single day and each day she’d burst into tears at the idea of having short hair. So I’m going to have Debbie do her best to fix it but keep the length. However, it will mean NOT being able to put her hair up anymore since it most likely won’t stay in ponytails anymore.
On Wednesday night I have music practice with the church band. Then Thursday is my latest art market in Rock Hill. I’m doing a better set up this time that will be more inviting as far as people looking at my artwork. I’m going to take my pegboard to hang pictures, and I’m also going to take one more table so that I have more room for myself AND the artwork. Lastly, I’m taking my stepladder for the blankets and will try to make one more blanket (tonight, I guess, since the other nights are taken) before the event. Based on that art market I’ll either sign up for the September art market or the Fort Mill art market. They are both taking place within a couple days of each other, but I only want to do ONE of them.
Friday will be my eve of rest. Can’t wait!
