Why is it that when our sick kids sleep with us in the bed they decide they want to be nestled up to ME? Why is it that when our sick kids sleep with us in the bed they decide they want to sleep sideways with their feet in my face?
Late last night at some point Denis brought CootieBoy into bed with us, but I didn’t know until I rolled over and CootieBoy’s foot hit my face. Then at around 6 a.m. this morning CootieBoy decided he wanted to cuddle with me and crawled over so that his head was resting on my belly. I moved him so that he was actually cradled in my arm and he proceeded to make me start sweating with his fever. I eventually moved him back onto the bed so that I could get up and get ready for work.
His fever this morning was 103.2 but after a cold bath we got it down to 101.5. Denis is going to enlist a co-worker’s wife to take care of him this morning, and with any luck I’ll be able to leave early again today. I took CootieGirl to daycare this morning and still managed to get to work on time.
