What A Day

Okay, so here has been my day:

1) Was very busy at work all morning.

2) Around 11:15 a.m. I got a call from daycare saying that CootieBoy had a 103 degree fever and needed to be picked up.

3) Got a floater to cover the rest of my shift and went to pick up CootieBoy. As I’m leaving the parking garage, I got a call from America’s Best – my glasses were in! So I

4) Popped over to the mall and picked up my glasses then

5) Picked up CootieBoy, who looked miserable. The teacher informed me that he didn’t participate at all in class activities this morning and was obviously not feeling well as the morning went on.

6) Took CootieBoy home where we had lunch and began to…

7) PLAY! The boy, despite a fever, had a healthy appetite and wanted to play the day away! Vigorously! He didn’t pass out for a nap until 4:30 p.m.

8. In other news, I sold another painting. Granted, it was to a friend of mine, but she bought one nonetheless. Actually, she asked for a customization of a painting I had done, using specific colors. So I started on that during CootieBoy’s nap because it has to be done and mailed out tomorrow to arrive by Saturday. Then at 5:40 p.m. we left to go

9) Pick up CootieGirl from daycare, where she

10) Opened two more presents (a Disney Princess CD and DVD set from Jen & Beau and a DVD from Daddy). We are now watching the Princess DVD for a second time and then will

11) Watch “Happy Feet,” which was the DVD that CootieGirl got from Daddy. Then it’s

12) time for them to go to bed so I can

13) Spend the rest of the evening finishing this painting.

In other news, I LOVE my new glasses (both pairs). They are much funkier than anything I’ve had before, and I think they fit my personality more. I still plan on wearing my contact lenses more frequently – maybe three workdays a week and on Sunday mornings to church.
