Well, I’m sad to report that this is my first weekly weigh-in where I gained weight. I gained half a pound back. It’s not surprisingly – I didn’t work out at all this past week, and I also have had a LOT of chocolate since Sunday. A LOT of chocolate.
Weigh-In Day
So today was weigh-in day and I’ve lost another pound for a total of 10 pounds gone since February 1st. I’m really happy about that. If I lose three more pounds by March 31st then I’ve met my goal of losing 5 pounds per month.
Last night at Synergy we did Tae Bo again. The minute we started some of the moves my entire body protested since I must have really pushed myself on Saturday morning, but I kept on going and was able to finish the 25 minute workout. We debated briefly whether we’d do the one-mile walk but opted not to (considering I could barely move at that point).
My sides are killing me again from the workout. Sue has offered to bring me her other Tae Bo tape this weekend for me to review and we might do that one as well after we’re used to this particular tape.
Just thinking about Tae Bo makes my body ache. And not in a good way.

Weigh-In Day
Today was weigh-in day and I’m happy to report that I’ve lost another pound. That’s nine pounds total, almost 1/5th of the way to my 2005 goal.
Synergy is starting Tae-Bo on Saturday, so I’m hoping that’ll really jack up my metabolism in March and that I’ll continue to lose without having to change my diet that much.
In other news, I’m slowly learning how to make a good cuppa tea. Yesterday I made cream tea and it was decent (cream and sugar helped). Today I made mango tea and drove everyone nuts in my office (again, cream and sugar helped and I was able to drink the whole cup). Tomorrow I’ll try the actual green tea I have and see if my new brewing technique will make that mildly tolerable as well.

Weigh-In Day
I forgot to post yesterday about my weigh-in results for the past week. There was nothing really to report: I didn’t lose anything this past week. It’s not surprising – I didn’t exercise a lot and didn’t really watch what I ate.
But, for February I lost a total of eight pounds, which is three pounds more than my goal of five per month. The scale is set back to zero and I hope to lose five pounds in March.
Weigh-In Day
This morning was weigh-in day. But I didn’t get to weigh myself because Marmie was using the bedroom that has the scale in it. But I did sneak in yesterday and weigh myself, and I’ve lost another pound for a total of seven pounds in three weeks.
I’ll take it, considering I only exercised once this week and ate some large portions due to a weird schedule. I plan on doing the Walk Away the Pounds video twice at home this week, as well as the 3-mile tape on Saturday at Synergy. I’m still pleased with seven pounds though – and the fact that I don’t breathe heavy after mild labor anymore (such as installing ceiling tiles).
Update on 2/23: I was able to weigh myself this morning and in fact I lost two pounds this past week, not one. Stats in the menubar have been updated accordingly. Yippee!
Weigh-In Day
Okay, so today is officially weigh-in day, and I’ve lost 3 pounds. Woo hoo!! I’m thrilled by that, and totally encouraged. I’ve said that my goal each month is to lose 5 pounds, and I’m already over halfway there with 2+ weeks left in February.
Last night’s Synergy was interesting. There were three of us, as well as Infant Son and Toddler Daughter. CootieGirl played contentedly for a while and then proceeded to do the “Walk Away the Pounds” workout with us. She would grab the weights from my hands and lift them over her head and march in place for a bit before handing them back to run around the room a bit. CootieBoy wanted to be held so through at least half of the workout I had him in my arms. Needless to say my arms are quite sore today.
Way to go, Jane… keep on melting off those pounds!!
Ditto ~ way to go! You are doing so well, keep up the good work!
