Visiting Quebec

In 2009 Denis and I are planning a trip to Canada. Yes, we already have our 2009 vacation spot picked out. If we didn’t already have a timeshare that we are using, I’d definitely be considering Blueberry Lake, a Tremblant resort north of Montreal. Featuring log-cabin style accommodations with top-of-the-line amenities, this place is amazing.

They are opening a spa and gym next month, making it the perfect getaway for anyone who just wants to relax and be pampered (I’d love to have that kind of vacation). Add in the fact that there is nearby skiing in winter, and golfing in the summer, and Blueberry Lake can’t be beat!

All of the cabins have at least 3 bedrooms (6 people) with some going up to five bedrooms (10 people), so it is great for large family gatherings, such as for holidays or special events. The concierge services are amazing – including pre-booking all of your grocery needs in advance of your arrival. Free on-site activities include tennis, swimming, fishing, canoeing, kayaking, hiking, biking, snowshoeing, cross-country skiing and ice-skating are free of charge (other than equipment rental for skates and skis). The resort also offers other activities such as snowmobiling, water skiing and aforementioned spa treatments which are subject to a charge.

All in all it looks like a FABULOUS resort worth looking into for family functions with style.
