You know how some people – people who, say, love Branson, Missouri – are such dedicated fans, almost rabid? Well, after Marie’s less than stellar reviews last night I think she might get all the votes. Because her freaky die-hard fans are going to come out of the woodwork and vote for her to make up for the rough reviews she received after her freestyle dance.
I HOPE that Helio wins – he has been the most consistent. I did watch Mel B’s freestyle last night (it was posted pretty quickly online after the show) and it was okay, but not great. So if you go by the ENTIRE season, Helio deserves to win.
But I think Marie locked it up last night by pandering to her doll collector fans. Plus she has the Mormon vote. But mainly it’s because of those doll collector, goin’-to-Branson type people.
Do not say that! I will be SO disappointed if she wins!
Trust me, it pained me to say it, but I’ll be VERY surprised if Marie doesn’t win.
I had been rooting for her all along, just to get to the finals but, after last night’s performance, I don’t think she deserves to win at all.
I think she is going to win because she is in the popular group of the type (not mormon so much) but people who grew up listening to her and her brothers. Middle aged woman.

Dang, I think I fit into that category. How’d I get to be middle aged?
However, I do not think she should have even been in the finals. That freestyle dance was painful to watch. Bizarre and not good.

Yes, it definitely hurt to watch Marie’s freestyle last night. It almost made me tired watching Jonathan throw that “doll” around. Bad, bad routine, makeup and costume. I think what befuddles (cute word?) me most is that Marie seemed to think she belongs with the finalists and that she wasn’t accepting criticism from the judges well at all. I was a bit worried she’d faint so she wouldn’t have to listen to it. :o) I will be very disappointed also if she wins.
