Can I tell you how happy I am that I don’t work in the city anymore? With this transit strike, I’m sure the city is a mess. My commute wouldn’t have been affected – I took NJ transit to Port Authority. And from Port Authority while I did normally take a city bus to my office, it’s only a 15 minute walk from Port Authority, which is not that bad. I feel bad for folks who take NJ Transit to work and then head south to Wall Street – that’s gonna be one heck of a cab fare they have to pay.
