Today is a GREAT Day, People!

Yesterday I confirmed a custom blanket order for someone who found my other website. THRILLED about that. Actually, she and I confirmed the order this morning even though we emailed about it yesterday. Then she emailed me to tell me that she referred a co-worker of hers to my website, and after a few emails with that second woman, SHE placed an order for a custom blanket! How awesome is that? Two orders in one day! I am thrilled. I did have to order some of the fabric they wanted since I didn’t have it in my fabric closet, but that’s okay. I also quoted a slightly cheaper price than I should have for the second blanket since it is using a slightly more expensive fleece, but I’m content in the knowledge that the first woman is going to get a REALLY NICE referral gift from me (especially considering she referred her friend before she even got the blanket!), and hopefully between the two of them they will tell all their friends about my blankets.

So the fabric has been ordered and hopefully it’ll arrive in the next week so that I can get them made before the end of the month.

But my good day didn’t stop there – I went to lunch a little while ago, and after I placed my order the woman said, “Hold on a second,” and walked over to her boss. She came back a moment later and said, “Your lunch is on the house today!” No reason – just BECAUSE. That was another great surprise today and such a blessing. It helps that I’m a regular, and that I place my order with the same two people at the counter every day.

And thirdly, my third PPP payment went into my PayPal today (and helped pay for that fabric I bought, as a matter of fact). And starting today I will get between $5-30 deposited into my PayPal account everyday as long as I make at least one PPP post per day. So I’m happy about that.
