About ten minutes ago Mr. BIL came over and said that he and Blondie Boss decided I could leave early if I wanted to. I said no thanks. He was surprised, and I explained that I had volunteered to help out another attorney through 6 p.m. if she needed help.
“You screwed yourself!” he laughed.
I explained it wasn’t a big deal since I didn’t have any major plans tonight, and besides, I’m leaving at 3:30 p.m. tomorrow afternoon, so I don’t mind staying ’til my normal time tonight.
But I may call that other attorney in the next 10 minutes and see if she’s going to need me – if not, then I’m outta here! *lol*
