So today I shipped off the blanket that I sold on Etsy yesterday. Since I am friends with Jean, the buyer I knew that I could safely mail the blanket today before the payment cleared completely. I hope her brother likes the blanket – I showed it to a co-worker today before I boxed it up and she cooed over it. *lol*
Since that one was sold, I went ahead and spent some time making a second one last night, this time with the yellow flipside. I was able to list that at Etsy last night (see top picture in the sidebar). If I was home tonight I’d make another adult sized blanket, but I’m going to be out all night, so I’ll just have to wait for Thursday to make more blankets (tomorrow night is music practice).
My other activity last night was working on a large VistaPrint order for my mom. She wanted notecards, return address labels and postcards with her new logo and info on it. I was able to get the notecards and address labels uploaded and ordered last night. Thursday I’ll do the postcard. I was up late working on that (admitted, I started late – after 10 p.m.).
When I got into bed I set the alarm for 5:30 a.m. so that I could get up to see the red moon during the lunar eclipse. However, while I could see that the SKY was red, I couldn’t see the red moon itself – it must have been REALLY low in the sky (which makes sense seeing as the sun was about to come up). I didn’t feel like hopping in my car to go get a better view at the end of the block, so I went back to bed. Oh well.
Tonight Denis and I are going to go see “The Bourne Ultimatum” after grabbing some BBQ at a local joint. Man, we’ve been eating a LOT of BBQ lately. But hey – we ARE in the south! I warned the kids this morning that Miss Lauren was going to be taking care of them tonight, and they seemed okay about that.
That’s all I have. I keep yawning today since I really only got about 5 hours of uninterrupted sleep (CootieBoy crawled in our bed just before the first alarm went off).
Jaynee — love those blankets. I will keep you in mind when I need to have one, either a baby, or adult one made. The tassels look hand-tied. How do you make them. You’ve got talent!
Thanks for helping last night!
Lila – the tassles on the blankets ARE handtied! =)
