With news that the newest season of Great British Bake Off was starting on Netflix in a couple weeks on September 25, I told CootieGirl that we needed to start back up with our Great British Bake Remake. The last time we did anything was 18 months ago! And that was our second remake effort! So this weekend I’m going to be attempting to make one of these options:
Series 2: Biscuits: Brandy Snaps
Series 3: Biscuits: Chocolate Teacakes
Series 4: Biscuits and Traybakes: Tuiles
I don’t know which one, but I opted to go with a biscuit this time since our attempts at patisseries and pastry were failures. I didn’t want to try a finale type of bake or else I think my spirit would be crushed. *lol*
And I’ll be honest – I’m leaning towards the tuiles as my choice to make because they seem deceptively simple.
