Another food post. This morning on the way to daycare CootieGirl mentioned that she had tasted a pumpkin seed at school this week. Her assessment: not good. I quickly said that pumpkin PIE is very tasty and that starting next week I’d be making them regularly.
“Oh I LOVE pumpkin pie!” she gushed. “It’s so good!”
Bear in mind the last time she had pumpkin pie was probably LAST Thanksgiving season, and I sincerely doubt she’d remember the pie. However, I let it slide.
“I do too!” I responded. “Maybe I’ll make one this weekend.”
Pumpkin pie and egg nog. Mmmmm….I love the holiday season.
I am not a big fan of pumpkin pie, but I make a pumpkin cheesecake that I quite enjoy.
Ace makes a pumpkin dessert dish as well – I think it’s called pumpkin crunch. Pumpkin makes GREAT desserts…
