Well, today we banned our first IP address. Someone apparently hates the Cootiehog opinion regarding Corey Clark on American Idol. She got a bit hotheaded (and also posted in ALL CAPS which is simply dreadful). I was hoping we could at least go a full year without banning anyone, but we came one month and two days shy of my goal.
The innocence is gone….
sorry to hear about that 🙁 i hope banning the IP address works for you. trouble is that if she doesn’t have a static ip address, she may still be able to post on your site.
Well, if she does come back we’ll just keep deleting her posts – although I may keep one around just for posterity.
Consider yourself lucky. You haven’t lived until the aLtErNaTiNg CaPs crackbabies do a number on your comments page.
I’m waiting for the day that I have to ban an IP and/or delete a post. Given that I’ve gotten more political lately, the day may come sooner rather than later.
And don’t forget that you deleted several comments from Kirby (that he posted under my IP and name).
Personally, I think it’s much for fun to edit stupid people’s comments. But I’m a mean vindictive sort of person like that.
