I was going to wait until after my hair appointment on Saturday to color my hair, but my roots got bad enough that I did it on Monday night. The color is not new – in fact, it’s pretty much the same color as I’ve been sporting the past few months (medium brownish blonde). But it’s less strawberry than it was before, so it doesn’t match CootieGirl’s hair anymore (my last color was a PERFECT MATCH to her color, minus the gorgeous natural streaking that she has in her hair).
I can’t wait to get my haircut on Saturday. I’m having them remove at least 2-3 inches on the bottom and put in longish layers as well as increasing my bangs. The less hair CootieBoy can pull in a tantrum, the better.
CootieGirl will also be getting her first haircut that day. Her hair is very straggly and so we’re going to cut 2-3″ from hers in order to even it up a bit – it may even reactivate her curls a bit more not to have so much weight dragging down her hair.
