This picture doesn’t do it justice since it was taken with my cellphone, but here is the entertainment center. You can see the size in relation to my two kids who were doing battle over who would sit on the kiddie sofa while watching “Finding Nemo”. The center is so large that the motion detector in the corner above the entertainment center now cannot see anything in that section of the house.
Hey, that looks great! I am surprised you went with the darker finish but it is gorgeous.
It’s actually not as dark as it appears in the picture. It’s more of a true cherry – it’s only a slight shade darker than our coffee table.

Not so fast Ace! We looked at it again last night and realized that it’ll still work – the eating/kitchen area can still be monitored by the motion detector, and pretty much if one breaks into the back of the house, those are the rooms they’ll go into. So we’re covered after all. =)
