This morning Denis and I exchanged our Valentine’s Day gifts. Last year I was really really romantic and bought him a snowblower. But it’s amazing what a year can do – this year I went for a much cheaper gift (and he for me). This year he gave me a pair of rubber duckies – they have hearts all over them. One is white, one is red. CootieGirl loves ’em. Our collection of rubber duckies is up to about 1000 now. I kid. It’s 900, really.
He received two sets of longjohns from me. Yes, winter is over soon, but Denis has one really old pair of longjohns and I saw some on sale so I bought two sets – shirts and pants. Next year he’ll be the warmest man on the block for about $12 retail. Not too shabby.
