I tried to find it online, but Denis bought a carton of Egg Nog the other day that is the most amazing egg nog I have ever had in my life.
Sugar Cookie Egg Nog
Just typing it makes my mouth begin to water.
I had my doubts, but last night I finally had a chance to pour a cup and it was AMAZING. Imagine all the best parts of a sugar cookie and the best parts of egg nog and you have this fantastic special edition.
Tonight when I get home I’ll look at who makes it and what store carries it so you can all go rush out and buy it. I have told Denis that since the expiration date on the carton he bought is sometime in December, he has my permission to buy out the store next time he sees it, so that we won’t run out anytime soon.
No, I’m not kidding about that.
They don’t have it on their website but the company is Hood.
I did find the cinnamon egg nog I told you about and a pumpkin flavor, as well as their other varities.

Here are the locations you can supposedly find Hood products at, but I don’t see any of the supermarkets around us listed here.

I either bought it at Bi-Lo or Food Lion, I believe. And I’m pretty sure it was Food Lion. I’ll pick some more up on the way home. We can stock our garage refrigerator for our White Elephant party.
One last thing, they have a lactaid eggnog if anyone needs that.
One last post. Here is a link to a press release about Hood’s Special Edition holiday flavors:

I love this quote from that article:
“Because they can be frozen for up to six months, Hood’s EggNog products can be enjoyed right through to early summer.”
We are SO doing that, Denis!
