Stuph

Last load of laundry is now spinning and will be ready to put in the dryer in a few minutes. I cleaned the dryer lint trap earlier – it had gotten to a point where our lint trap warning would come on every 15 minutes on the dryer. Now that I’ve cleaned it, no more beeping.

However, our smoke alarm in the upstairs hallway IS beeping – it has been for the past several hours. Cooper is freaking out about it, of course, and sticking to me like glue because he hates the sound.

I managed to sew a blanket today. It’s payment to a friend for watching the kids one day last fall while I worked a craft market (Denis was out of town at the same time). She ended up having them a LOT longer than I anticipated, and she was kind enough to accept payment via a blanket. She picked out the fabric a few weeks ago and I decided I’d put it together today and get that off my “to do” list.

I attempted to vacuum today, and something is wonky with our vacuum, so I’m waiting for Denis to email me to tell me where the vacuum user manual is so I can see how to fix it. Basically, even when the tools function is turned OFF, it continues to suction. It causes a horrific noise and then bagless container stops doing it’s thing. So hopefully it’s an easy fix.

I sent you an email saying where I believe the manual is a few minutes ago. Hope it’s an easy fix. I used the vacuum the other day and it worked fine and I didn’t clean up anything unusual that day.

Bummer about the vacuum! That isn’t good, but it’s still under warranty so if it is something you can’t figure out, don’t hesitate to take it in to your nearest Sears repair place.

Hey. Just found your blog through Canucklehead. Very cool. Hope the vac works, I am going to be doing the same thing here in a few minutes.

    Namaste.

    Thanks for visiting, Phil!

Alas, the vacuum never worked, so we’ll be shipping it off to get it fixed – fortunately it’s under warranty, so we don’t have to fork out any dough to get it fixed.
