Some Have Dropped Out

I guess the pressure was too much for some bloggers, because during the past few minutes that I’ve been surfing and commenting I did see a few blogs on which the owners basically said, “Sorry, I can’t do this anymore – it was fun though. Maybe next year!”

I remember for Blogathon 2003 I would see a post from someone thinking about stopping because they hadn’t received any sponsors, and I doled out a lot of money during the night to encourage those folks to continue. Most did, but a couple folks ended up quitting. I still donated to their charities though.

Of course, that was when we had money to spare – now we’re broke and I can’t afford to do that anymore. *lol*

I can see quitting if I only had pledges for $50 or less. I just can’t quit for the pledges I have though – that’s money that will help IJM and I want them to have it.

I am tired though. You must be exhausted.

I haven’t hit my wall yet, although when my pastor called earlier this evening he was surprised when I said I was sure I’d be fine leading worship tomorrow morning at church. :wide-eyed:

My wall will probably come around 3 a.m.
