Now that the party is over, there’s nothing really going on. It’s going to be a quiet couple of weeks.
Last night I was working on a blanket for a customer and at the halfway point I realized with absolute horror that I had used the wrong fabric on the solid side. The customer wanted minky fabric, and I used whisperfleece. I immediately hopped on my computer and send an apology email to the client, offering some options. Unfortunately, I got an email back saying the woman was out of the office today on a vacation day, which means I won’t hear from her until tomorrow. I know both ladies that I did blankets for are anxious to get them sooner rather than later. I’m just so upset with myself for using the wrong fleece.
I also haven’t been doing much Pay Per Posts lately (it has been a week since my last PPP post) – the main reason is because of the now famous “Google PageRank Spanking” that happened a few weeks ago. For my own personal finances I’m hoping that the new RealRank that is being implemented will take hold and opps will improve. I was a PR4 for at least three years and so I know I have a decent website here with lots of stuff to keep readers interested in returning, even with having to wade through the sporadic sponsored post, which are always appropriately marked so that people can avoid them if they want to.
Not much else. Tomorrow is book club and I’m HOPING the author can dial in, but haven’t heard from her so I’m not sure. In any event we’ll have plenty of food since we have stuff left over from the party.
Can you just untie the blanket and cut a new piece of back fleece? I can’t imagine a fix would be too difficult.
Untie at least 200 double knots? Uh…sure. I’ll get right on that. NOT!!! My fingers get cramped enough MAKING the knots, I can’t imagine how frustrating and painful it would be to try and UNDO them.
