Slight Info Changes to Miz L’s Page

Upon reviewing Miz L’s file some more this morning I found some letters and notes from late 2005 and early 2006 that had more info on how the money was taken from Miz L. I’ve duly updated Miz L’s donation page to reflect the information that I found to make it more clear as to what happened to her.

Update at 1:15 p.m.: Well, after a meeting with Mr. BIL just a while ago, I decided to remove the page for Miz L as well as refund all monies donated thus far ($820 which is AWESOME). He said I needed to learn to detach myself in the pro bono cases and that while it was admirable that I tried to do something on a personal level, in this case I need to let the appropriate parties do what they need to do and continue to seek help from charity groups and services.

Thanks to all who contributed to the fund – you should have the money deposited back into your accounts over the next couple of days as PayPal processes the refunds that I’ve already put in for. I’ll keep you informed as to what happens in the case, if only for those who would wonder what became of Miz L.
