Denis is sick. Sick as a dog, actually. We think it’s food poisoning, but aren’t sure. It involves fever (99.7 when I took it), vomiting, shakes, and diarrhea. He’s a mess, basically. When I left he was on the sofa with phone, water, bucket, Blackberry and remote controls. Hopefully he’ll feel better as the day goes on. I felt bad leaving him, but I had to work AND we have to keep the kids away from him in case it’s an illness rather than food poisoning.
CootieBoy is also sick – just a head cold and a cough. Thankfully, he ASKED for medicine last night (usually we have to pin him down to administer meds). He took the cough medicine (Delsym) last night with no complaint and again this morning. Unfortunately, he STILL spent most of the night coughing despite the meds. I hope he doesn’t run around school day saying, “I’m sick!” which he did all weekend.
Aw, poor baby. I’ll be praying.
