Savannah Smiles

In the late spring of 2002, Denis and I took a short vacation to Savannah, Georgia. I admit that the book “Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil” had so vividly described the city that I had to see it myself. We were not disappointed – the squares dotting the city with park benches and dripping with spanish moss and atmosphere; the amazing seafood along the water (the steamed oysters were to DIE FOR and I think I ate a pound a day because they were so cheap), the quirky shops and local flavor. Add in a wonderful art Savannah College of Art & Design sidewalk art festival and it was a really fun long weekend and I’d go to Savannah again in a heartbeat if given the chance.

Now you and I can both try to win a tour in Savannah (or Key West or San Diego)!! Trusted Tours is offering visitors to their site the opportunity to win four free tour tickets in the city of their choice. How do you do it? Register for the e-newsletter offered by Trusted Tours and Attractions. This offer ends Friday, December 14, 2007.

If you haven’t been to Savannah, I highly recommend it. Trusted Tours even offers a 2 hour tour relating to the “Midnight” book which so enraptured me the first time I read it.
