I’m so over being at work today. It has been a weird day – busy, and weird. I’ve just never felt like I was HERE today.
*shakes it off*
Last night I had Denis put on the Netflix movie I got for the kids (Pooh’s Heffalump Movie) and they only watched for about 20 minutes before getting bored. So that went back today and I guess that’s your review of it right there: “Two toddlers couldn’t be bothered to watch it.”
Tonight I hope to get some pool time with one or both of the kids. It’s so frickin’ hot that they deserve that treat. I’ll also be taking them tomorrow, time permitting.
Sunday I’ll be heading to Greensboro to pick up my keyboard. Sadly, it’ll be a 3-hr roundtrip since it’s Greensboro, but I’m hoping it’ll be worth it and I’m very excited. Since it is only coming with the power code and nothing else, I hopped onto Amazon and ordered the sustain pedal, keyboard stand and bench. This way I don’t have to keep borrowing those things from other team members. Then today I ordered the carrying case. So I’m all set on gear and my bonus is officially GONE (and then some – I had to dip into my own $$ for the extras). But hey – if you need a keyboardist for a small event, don’t hesitate to call. I’m up to the challenge as long as you don’t expect, you know, greatness.
I suggest we make Greensboro a family outing and see if there’s anything around there we can do with the kids. Maybe include a meal in there somewhere. Start your research now!
That sounds good – it depends on what time I get the call from the seller that he’s back from his trip. But I didn’t want to go alone, so I was already planning on it being a family trip. *lol* If the timing fits, we can get dinner in Greensboro before heading back.
