I’ve had a productive morning thus far. I have cleaned out Mr. BIL’s office and it is spotless now. SPOTLESS. I know it won’t last past Wednesday, but I’ll enjoy it today.
My cubicle, on the other hand, is now a disaster. Part of making Mr. BIL’s office spotless involved me taking 1,000s of loose papers from his office and bringing it into my cube to start filing. And there is a LOT of filing.
I’m waiting for our facilities guy to bring me two large boxes to get rid of some file folders, and then I’ll get started on the loose papers. It’s so funny that he yells at me about filing all the time, and yet I found SO MUCH STUFF in his office that should have been in the client files.
I’m covering front desk today for an hour since our receptionist is out, and I’m also running to Target on my lunch hour to pick up some art stuff for CootieGirl to use on her new drawing easel (she asked me about it this morning, and I told her I’d bring stuff home for her tonight). Then the remainder of the afternoon I’ll be organizing and filing. With any luck it’ll be quick, and I can leave when the office closes, should it decide to close early today.
