One of the best things about going up north for any length of time is picking up a stash of Utz Potato Chips to bring back home. Last time I brought back six red bags (which are regular salted chips), and made them last as long as possible. They are truly the BEST POTATO CHIPS IN THE WORLD. I also think my parents brought some the last time they came to visit.
So how excited was I to visit the Utz website and find that I can order chips IN BULK? If I want to, I can order a THREE POUND CONTAINER of regular Utz chips for $10. Oh wait…hold on…I’m drooling – let me go get a tissue.
The only bad thing? They don’t offer the regular chips in the SIX POUND CONTAINER – only the specialty chips.
I LOVE UTZ! Those who have never had Utz don’t understand – but they are truly better than any other kind of chip. The perfect thickness, the perfect amount of salt, the best taste. They are AWESOME and I’m so excited that my mother is going out today and buying at least six red bags for me.
SO excited.
* the title of the post refers to an awesome Utz commercial put out about 7 years ago in which the people in the commercial were crying over running out of Utz chips. It was all in french, with the only line being “Por Quoi?”
Are you sure this isn’t a Pay Per Post? LOL
BTW, you can get a 6 1/2 Gallon Tin of Utz Regular Potato Chips for $22.99 on their site.
It’s not. BUT you’ll be happy to know I signed up for the Utz Tasting Club to volunteer to try samples of new flavors in the future. I did that more for you than me, obviously.
Denis – that’s awesome.
Get ’em when you travel… otherwise stick with carrots!!!

Hmmmm….what’s awesome? A six and a half gallon tin of potato chips?
I totally understand, Jane, these are hands down my favorite chips. No need for all that flavoring or ripples, I say.

Carrots when traveling are no fun! *lol* Last night while traveling I enjoyed chips, walnuts, and Twizzlers. MUCH more fun to eat while traveling. 😉
Comment #9 – that’s quite the spam, there. Did CommentLuv gather that for you? Oy.
Jen – wow! That was a long one! It has been deleted, and you are now #9. And no, that wasn’t commentluv at all – that was the entire comment. I guess I should see if I can change the allowed comment length, huh?
