Denis and I have been lamenting what to get his mother for Christmas this year. She’s very tough to shop for because she doesn’t have things like Amazon Wishlists or things she collects (and the one thing she does collect – mini-liquor bottles – she has almost every one known to man and no more room for additions!). Last night Denis mentioned the possibility of looking into Photo Calendars as a possibility. We’d put pictures of the kids for each month, with an occasional family photo. I think it’s a great idea and am not surprised that VistaPrint offers them. I get some good discounts through VistaPrint since I’m signed up for UPromise, so I’ll probably do a bit more research into the final pricing as well as the time needed to create a calendar and see what we can come up with.
Of course, if we decided to do this, then we also need to come up with 12 really good pictures to USE in the calendar. Maybe Denis and I can talk them into sitting still for an actual professional photo session. What? It could happen!
In any event, since it’s already November we need to get cracking. Fortunately, VistaPrint has always had a fast turnaround whenever I’ve ordered stuff from them (I recently ordered 1500 business cards for my mom and they were shipped out in three days), so we should still have plenty of time to get something together.
