CootieGirl’s summer vacation with Marmie and Pop comes to an end this Friday morning, when she’ll load her things back into the car and make the trek back home. She’ll be devastated, I’m sure. We’ve talked to her every day and she’s so obviously having a blast that I fear she’ll cry for days upon her return to South Carolina. Marmie said that CootieGirl hasn’t mentioned CootieBoy once during her trip.
CootieBoy, on the other hand, misses CootieGirl. Since he isn’t even three yet, he’s not openly saying, “I miss CootieGirl,” unless we ask him about her, but occasionally he’ll squeak out her name when referencing something, or he’ll just kind of pause and say, “Where’s CootieGirl?” before continuing with what he is doing. And playing is not quite the same without her, I’m sure.
But destroying her books is still just as much fun, apparently, as witnessed last night in the utter devastation of one of her princess books on the stair landing when I took him upstairs to go to bed.
In fact, it’s still on the stair landing — as proof of the devastation I suppose.
CootieGirl IS having a great time! We are going to be so sad when she leaves. Will try to get some pictures to you soon so you can post them.
Pics would be great. I want to see how much she’s grown since she left. LOL
