Today the old man of our house turns 40. :birthday: I’ve been told that 40 is the new 30… and since I’ll be 40 in a few years I have to say that I agree! 😀

my sister got engaged over the weekend. Wedding date: December 30, 2005.

So let’s see:

1. She said she wasn’t getting engaged anytime soon.
2. She said she wouldn’t get married in December 2005.
3. She said she doesn’t plan on having kids.

So, does she REALLY want to go three-for-three on the “I was wrong, you were right” front?

my sister did the same thing, btw – said she wasn’t getting married or having kids for the longest time…she finalyl got married about being with her boyfriend for 8 years…but she’s still claiming she won’t have kids.

let’s see which of our sisters caves first!!!

Lila, we sort of met online in that my mother gave our mutual friend the link to my blog. He read it for a while then emailed me and we corresponded for several weeks before meeting in person.
