It’s someone’s birthday here at The Firm and in honor of that we had two dozen Krispy Kreme donuts delivered. Apparently KKD now has a whole wheat glazed donut that is *gasp* “ONLY” 180 calories. Everyone was gushing about how great it was to have a relatively low calorie donut.
Until I went on the KKD website and found out that the original glazed KK donut is 200 calories. So that’s only a twenty calorie “savings” by eating the whole wheat. It’s almost laughable.
However, the whole wheat donut? She is TASTY and I just might go get another one since I did 45 minutes on the treadmill this morning.
That is pretty funny that it’s only 20 calories in difference. Whole wheat is better for you. Do they both cost the same?
Don’t know as I didn’t actually BUY the donuts. I assume they are the same price, though.
