So we had Cooper’s dog food by the back patio door – tonight we found ants trying to lift a piece of his food off the floor. We sprayed the whole threshold with Raid and will no longer keep his food there. We’ll also get ant baits and set them outside the door in an attempt to keep them from coming in (it worked at the apartment, so hopefully it’ll work here).
In other news, apparently our neighbor across the street is a drummer. He has a full kit in his garage. And apparently when he plays he likes to open his garage door so the whole neighborhood can hear his concert. Fortunately he finishes before 8 p.m., but it’s really annoying when you have a 2-year-old sleeping in the living room because you can’t put him in his room which faces the street. I also wouldn’t mind if he was really good, like the guy that played in my church band in NoNJ. This guy just plays the same beat the whole time. Like a pianist does scales on the piano. Maybe I’ll become really good friends with them and talk the wife into getting her husband an electronic kit that will allow him to plug in earphones so that only he can hear them? I know they have those. Or better yet, maybe I’ll make my first official complaint to the Home Owner’s Association. Surely there’s a noise ordinance for this subdivision?
Coooooooooooooooooopey, you can come live with us!!!!! Ewwwwww ants (and now RAID) in your food!! . . .Well, I NEVER!
