Not Hard to Believe

Polls says almost half of all New Jerseyans want to leave state permanently. No surprise there.

Why stay? Because of the proximity to New York City? That’s not enough for me.

High taxes, corrupt local and state governments, high cost of living, congestion, pollution, salary wages not keeping up with the cost of living – those are just a handful of the reasons people are leaving the state in droves. And I’m glad to be counted among them.

You know, I gave “The Dirty” a bad rap before I moved her saying ” I would never live there”. However, with all its corruption (which state doesn’t have that) and all its Pollution (have you been to Baltimore Lately) and Congestion (any major city).. it really is a beautiful state. Yes, I had to move an hour from work to get more land but It does have the perks of NYC (things you can’t get anywhere else) and having the luxury of going when you want. Taxes are High (yes they are) but we pay for the area. As for your poll… well, I think polls are full of BS. It always depends on who you ask. Take Election Polls for instance. See what I mean?
