I came back from lunch a couple hours ago and Mr. BIL held up the document I had search high and low for. When I asked him where he found it, he just laughed and said, “in the file,” but refused to tell me WHERE in the file (that I went through TWICE).
And now I have spent the better part of 90 minutes searching for a receipt (one of five) to include with a document we’re submitting to the court. Sure enough, I found it in the LAST folder, the LAST bunch of documents, the LAST document in the bunch. Ridiculous in its absurdity.
I am sure he meant ” in the file cabinet”.. to me it sounds like me put it back but in the wrong location. Poor you. I hope today goes better
