No, Seriously, I LIKE Wild Goose Chases. Not.

Mr. BIL has me looking for an email he SWEARS was sent out three weeks ago. HE remembers sending it, and the person supposedly receiving the email remembers reading it. I’ve look in Mr. BIL’s sent box, my sent box, my deleted box, and his deleted box and there is NO EMAIL.

He then had me check the files in case it was filed. There’s nothing in there. That’s because no email was sent. But try telling HIM that.

His paralegal came over to my desk a while ago and said, “I don’t think there was an email. I believe they discussed it on the PHONE and they are both confused and now think it was an email discussion.”

So I tried slipping that into the conversation with Mr. BIL. “Could it have been during a meeting that you talked about this? Or a conference call?”

“No, it was definitely an email.”

NO IT WASN’T!!!!!

Ahem, that was just ever so slightly sexist. Why not “bosses are endless frustrating for many reasons?” That statement is not only true, but non-sexist. (Of course, a man-boss is that double whammy thing, but we’ll cover that later.)

“Nevis – looks like men can be hypersensitive too! *lol*”

You would have never been as Light Hearted if a sexist comment about women was made on your Blog, Jaynee!

So just go raise your kids, clean your kitchen and sit quietly in the corner like a good wife!

Ace, comments like that don’t bother me. Never have, never will. If someone tells me I should stay at home and be a dutiful wife and mother, my response is, “Pay off my debt for me and I’ll do it right now.”
