Speaking of quiet, this week is a nice quiet week for the Cootie family. The only night we have plans is our life group tomorrow night. Other than that, we’re at home.
Tonight I’ll be making a pumpkin pie for life group, and quite possibly a potato dish for the dinner portion of the evening.
I finished the laundry last night, putting the last load in the dryer as I left for work this morning. It’s a good thing, too, since CootieBoy had no more clean long pants and would have had to wear shorts tomorrow if I didn’t do it.
Speaking of wearing shorts – the weather has been AMAZING the past several days. Sure, we’re still technically in a drought, but I’m loving the mid-60s weather and the ability to open the windows and let in the fresh breeze. The kids have enjoyed pulling out their light jackets to go outside. Our electric bill is going to be AWESOME next month.
I’m not up for the band this week – in fact, I’ve been put on VIDEO duty, which is weird since I’ve never run video before. But that’s what I got signed up for, and the good news is that it means I only have to show up about 30 minutes before the service starts. Nice…
