I’m through the Ds at this point, and have 2,817 tracks on my MP3 player. The Ds went by really quickly, and I hope to get the Es and part of the Fs done tonight after the kids go to bed. We don’t have a lot of Es so that should be no problem.
I deleted the Ricky Gervais podcasts since I have them saved on my hard drive, and find that I have 26,563MB left out of 38,133MB. Not too shabby! I should be able to get at least another 5,600+ tracks on the player, if not a full 6,000.
Lest anyone thing that the 2,817 tracks I have currently are representative of the As-Ds, let me assure you that at least 1,800 of those tracks are MP3s that were either downloads or were part of our CD collection that I already had ripped to the computer in years past. So really I’ve only put on 1,000 from A-D. And at 250 songs per letter as an average, I should be able to get the rest of our CDs on with no problem.
