So we watched “Shrek 2” this weekend. I remember the hype that it was better than the first, that the computer effects were better, yadda yadda yadda. I won’t say my hopes were high for this one – sequels are rarely better than the original. And in the case the original is still better.
I thought “Shrek 2” was just okay. It wasn’t as funny as the first one and while it was enjoyable, it wasn’t great. Would I recommend it? Sure, as a rental. But I won’t be buying this one.
