On Friday night Denis and I sat down to watch one of our Netflix movies. They’ve been sitting here for almost two weeks and we needed to get them out of the house. We opted for “Mad Hot Ballroom” a documentary about some NYC fifth graders who take ballroom dancing and compete in a city competition. This was a sweet movie and the kids were awesome. Some kids had decent rhythm, but for the most part that didn’t matter – what mattered was that this dancing class was keeping them out of trouble and enabled them to have some good clean fun.
I recommend it. And not just for the awesome shots filmed all over NYC.
4 hip sways out of five.
