I like Jim Carrey and I love Tea Leoni, so I had high expectations for this movie. Full of slapstick comedy and some fun moments, I still didn’t come away from this movie thinking it was a fantastic movie. I think at some point it just became a bit more unbelievable than it already was. I got that feeling right around the time that Dick and Jane were in the Grand Cayman bank attempting to get Alec Baldwin’s character to sign their fake form to transfer money. I mean, this is supposed to be an average man and wife – not “Alias”.
All of that aside, it was a fun rental and shows that Tea Leoni is a force to be reckoned with in comedic films. She is luminous and is a great comedienne.
