I’ve been one busy puppy today.
Even though Mr. BIL has been out (he’s moving into a new home today), I’ve been busy printing out various billing letters. You wouldn’t think it would take a lot of time, but this month he is sending out a LOT of bills. I have five more to go and I’ll be done.
I’ve also taken some time to work on getting more participants in the trunk show that I’m co-hosting in late September. I am now up to SEVEN vendors (including myself), with emails out to two more vendors about participating. If all nine of us participate we will have the following area represented:
- painting, ACEOs, fleece blankets
- jewelry
- tea and tea-related products
- pottery
- woodworking, photography
- bath/body stuff (soaps, lotions, creams)
- crochet goods
- sewn handmade baby clothing
- bags/purses/belts/scarves
That’s a GREAT variety of items and I’m very excited about it. Once all vendors have formally agreed to participate, I’ll put down a deposit on the location and we will be set. I’ve got a small list of places to promote the trunk show (various ladies/community groups in Charlotte) and I also know the vendors themselves will be able to do some heavy promoting within their own communities and crafting groups. Add in a few hundred flyers at various crafting in the two weeks before our trunk show and we’re sure to have a great crowd coming to peruse our wares as they gear up for the holiday shopping season.
And if it’s a success, maybe we’ll do it every year!!
