Yesterday was Mets Umbrella Night. I went to the game with my mom, brother and my friend Robert Murphy. He went to the Mets vs. Yankees game last week. This was not a good night. The game was delayed at the start by 45 minutes, the Mets were down 2-1 going into the top of the fourth against the Atlanta Braves when the rain came down for a second time. But this time it didn’t stop quick enough for the Mets to resume play and the game was rained out to be made up at a later date. At least we all had umbrellas. Kind of fitting, right?
