Love It.

Isn’t that ticker AWESOME? As of this morning, I’m 8.5 pounds down. WOO HOOO!!!

I know it’s deceptive to have it saying I only need to lose 30 pounds, but I’m positive that if I put the total amount I had to lose up there I’d be horribly depressed. But right now my goal is to lose 30 pounds by May 24, and I’m well on my way!!! Then I’ll work on the next 30 pounds, and then the final 10-15 by year’s end.

I rarely watch Oprah anymore but I caught it the other night and there was a woman who had lost 180 lbs or something. She said she made herself 10 lbs goals and then just a new one until she reached her ultimate goal so I think your smaller goal is a great idea!

That is Fantastic! I weighed myself this morning… I gained a total of 4lbs since Thanksgiving.. BOOOOO!

I started my weight loss program yesterday…. no sweets and limited amount of intake. Anthony and I are going this weekend to purchase a treadmill for the other side of our basement… then we will call cable back in to make sure the wall unit is hooked up.. Can’t run on a treadmill without TV!

Mimi – you are right. I haven’t been depriving myself at all – just made three small changes every two weeks beginning in December. I know at some point I’ll have to be more “aggressive” in my tactics, but as long as I continue losing 1.5 pounds a week, I’m not changing much more!!!

That’s great. Teach me how to lose 8 and a half pounds. I want to get down to 190. Anything less than that is extra. As long as I keep working out a few times each week and I start being diligent about not eating or drinking the wrong things in excess, I should be on my way.

    Keep it up, sweetie.
