It’s Weird to be Back

It has only been a year and three months since we moved away, but I had trouble finding Ace & Anthony’s house last night. *lol* My flight left on time (check-in was as breezy as can be – only took me 30 minutes from the time I pulled up to the airport ’til I was sitting in a restaurant placing my dinner order.

It was a packed plane – but thank goodness I had an aisle seat. The flight was quick, but upon landing I found out my car rental was in the middle of NOWEHERE – as in, not even on airport property!! But I caught a shuttle heading over there, and picked up the car with no problem.

The next trick was finding Ace & Anthony’s. I just didn’t know a “quick” way to get there, so I had to go the only way I knew how, and it was the LONG way. I pulled up at 11 p.m. Ae and I chatted for a few minutes and then I went to bed. I think I fell asleep within about 5 minutes.

My body is used to waking up at 7:30 a.m., and didn’t fail me even though I had hoped to sleep in this morning. I woke up at 7:45 a.m.

Today I’ll just hang out – maybe go out and get some breakkies after I take a shower, do some shopping for kids clothes to take home, and basically just RELAX.

I just want everyone to know it takes me no more than 20 minutes to get to the airport… Real quick right off the highway… We live a tiny bit Northwest of the airport.

Crazy Jane decided that driving.. EAST then NORTH then WEST then SOUTH was the best way of getting to my house. Even though there is a direct road that will take you north to another road that goes west that is about a mile from the house. LOL Poor thing, I had to stay on the phone with her just to make sure she made it safe and sound. I guess once you leave NJ… YOU LEAVE NJ!

That’s why they have the magazine Weird NJ. Hope you’re having a good time and getting to sleep late.
