After SEVEN days of my scale not budging one single ounce downwards (despite an average of 3 hours per day on the Wii and getting sweaty and my heart rate in the right zone), the scale FINALLY moved down 1/2 a pound. You would have thought I ran the NY Marathon in under two hours, I was so excited.
I’m hoping that my week-long plateau is finally over and that I’ll be able to drop a pound before Wednesday’s doctor appointment. If I can manage that, then I’ll have a 3.5 loss for the month. But since I gained weight at Disney, it’s REALLY a 5-6 pound loss – but they won’t know that (although I’ll most definitely be sharing that).
I’m very sore from the Wii Fit last night. This time it’s my entire body that is sore, so I know it was an effective workout. I’m looking forward to going deeper into the program to see what’s available – I’m hoping there is some sort of workout planner (which would be AWESOME).
Today we have a busy day – a Scottish festival in Clover (haggis…yum!), time at the pool and almost definitely some Wii time (CootieBoy REALLY wants to play Indiana Jones).
