Is “Various Miscellany” A Redundant Phrase?

1) So when our home computer died a couple months ago I lost a lot of programs that I had on there – including that Tunebite program that I bought and downloaded to convert MP4 files from iTunes into MP3 files that I could play on my Creative Zen. I emailed them asking if I could download it again, and after a few quick emails back and forth they gave me permission to download a new copy! YAY!

2) Did you know that if you don’t use your Hotmail account for a certain amount of time they’ll delete EVERYTHING in the account and have you start from scratch the next time you log in? Well, I didn’t know that – but apparently it’s true because when I went there yesterday my whole thing was wiped clean – including certain account information that I still referred to that I kept there in some super-old emails. *sigh*

3) Did you know that if you don’t order something from your Columbia House account for over a year they will remove your “Member’s Choice” status and force you to respond to those stupid cards again? I received notice of that yesterday. And when I get my first card I will be responding requesting my account be cancelled.

4) Somehow CootieGirl has come to believe that CootieBoy’s last name is Donuts.

5) I had a talk with Skater about an hour ago and it’s hard to believe that sometimes a boss will confide personal stuff to his admin. But he did, and it turns out that he and I are EXACTLY alike in so many ways and he was comforted to get some advice from someone who’s experienced what he’s going through right now.

6) I’ve decided to join the 24-hour gym and will sign up tonight. The gym doesn’t open for another month, but either way I’m joining. Also, I clocked it in my car last night and the gym will be exactly 1.1 miles from our house. Well within walking distance if I go work out during daylight hours (I won’t walk there at night).

7) My cold sore is almost gone. All in all not too bad this time, although it would have been completely gone about two days ago if I hadn’t accidently wiped it with my washcloth a couple mornings ago when I was washing my face. Ripped it wide open. Ouch!

8) Denis bought a Ronco rotisserie yesterday (it was only sale for $70 down from $200) and made a 6 lb chicken for dinner. It was DELICIOUS and he said that was probably the best kitchen purchase he has ever made. I tend to agree and can’t wait to taste the next thing he makes in there. The only bad thing? The rotisserie is HUGE and we have no place to put it. Makes me think that when we replace the double wall ovens that we should get an oven with an open microwave slot to put the rotisserie on.

#4 – that’s so great! Did you laugh out loud when you discovered that? Hilarious.
