From an article in today’s NY Times online: “Through the week, officials said, he [George Bush] has stuck to his regimen of daily exercise, as well as a new diet under which he is forgoing desserts.”

I gave up desserts (actually all sweets) for Lent. I wanna be like Dubya.
D-man, make sure you put “Denis Says:” in the titles of your posts so people know who is posting the tidbits. I don’t want people thinkin’ I gave up sweets for lent when it was just chocolate that I gave up.
I thought of that after I posted it and was going to go back and fix it but I thought that by doing that, I was admiting that this was YOUR site and I was a second class citizen. I don’t see any “Jaynee Says:” any more. *lol*
D-man, I knew it was you. Dubya is the man.
He’s no General Lee.
You don’t see “Jaynee Says” anymore because you admitted you weren’t going to participate anymore other than the occasional post. Therefore, you need to specifically announce when you are posting so that you don’t cause fainting when something political goes up on this website. =)
Actually, I think W. is very much like General Lee in that he is a man of great faith, conviction, and loyalty, with supreme devotion to country, family and to the men who followed him into battle. I may have been born in Queens but I do love Gen. Lee – and W. 😉
I think I’m going to have to ask you to find another blog to post your comments to if you’re going to continue like that. May I suggest this one?

I may have to ban your I.P. address if this keeps up.
Just kidding. You know that. Cootiehog encourages the wit and wisdom of all who care to contribute — including those deep southerners steeped in the traditions of the Confederate. I only wish I could find some Yankees who wanted to post. And not just those who want to see Corey be America’s next pop singing idol.
You consider NoVA to be the deep south? *lol* So what is Mississippi or Alabama? The super deep south?
Look who’s talking Miss “Minnesotta is in the mid-west”.
*rotflmao*
1. I knew it was Denis. But Jaynee has a point about identifying yourself, D.
2. I love when you two lovebirds “argue” online. Hilarious…
3. I’m amused that my mother continues a normal “discussion” in the midst of the “argument.”
4. Thanks for the unsolicited plug.
5. What *is* Minnesota in? The Northern Tier?
6. Denis, you want to be invited to the Jen Speaks team of bloggers? You’re more than welcome to post political stuff at my blog. I’ll send you the official invitation and everything. We can confuse all of my loyal readers!
Uh, Denis. Need I remind you that last night you claimed that North Dakota was in The Plains of this country????
And I just went around and got confirmation from three employees that Minnesota, indeed, is in the mid-west.
Thanks for the offer, Jen. I want to stay as far away from politics as possible. And I’m happy to give your website a plug any time I can.
And there are not “arguments” here.
Whatever happened to General Lee? Grant. Now there’s a general.

Okay, here’s a link that talks about the different regions of the country. I’ll concede that North Dakota is considered part of the mid-west – but so is Minnesota!!!
I’m staying out of this one. *lol*
Oiy, am I to blame for starting this???
Well, I guess that makes me in the SUPER deep south down here in GA. *LOL*
