This morning before work I stopped off at the elementary school by our house and voted for the man I hope to be President for the next four years. I chose the man that is currently President and sincerely hope he wins.
Others may disagree and vote for Kerry, which is fine. Because isn’t it exciting that we live in a country that allows us the freedom to choose a leader for ourselves? And that we have laws in place that limit a President’s length in office to eight years maximum so that we have no chance of becoming led by a dictatorship as in other countries? And that while we may have divisions in opinion we don’t live in a state of fear because the two main political groups are killing each other over ideology?
America is a great country, and it’s imperative that everyone participate in our right and privilege to vote for the leader of this nation.
I voted. Did you?
Not yet. I raked and blew leaves. We have a lot of leaves in the front of our house.
All said and done… **Ace sits back and waits for the results**
Yup – All done – Feeling good right now, feeling good !!
Yay for all of you who’ve already voted. I’m such a junkie and I love this, even with the possibility of a result that I won’t like. Jaynee’s right – we live in a great country.
Go vote!
I’m on my way out the door right now. I’ve heard the lines are long ~ one to two hour wait. A good opportunity to pray while there.
Bright and early this morning I got a chance to vote. Now I am going to the gym with my fingers crossed!
I voted for the winner about an hour ago. I’m not tellin’ who I voted for. *lol*
I got my vote out and i’m not ashamed to say…GO KERRY! may the best man win =)
