I have a new obsession, and his name is Karl Pilkington. My download of the Ricky Gervais Show Season One podcast was the greatest thing I could have done. It is brilliantly funny. I’m firmly convinced that Karl Pilkington is the greatest comedian on the planet, and his perfect straight men are Ricky Gervais and Steve Merchant. I’ve read some people’s opinion that Ricky and Steve are just being mean to Karl, but I’m not in that camp. I think Karl is a mad genius comic. And Monkey News? Funniest thing ever.
