As Denis has been posting, our new addition is a cutie as well as a handful (but only because of our original handful, CootieGirl). I’m five days post-delivery and feel fantastic compared to my recovery from last year. This morning I took a look at my incision and confirmed that the doctors this time around really knew what they were doing. AND I was able to not only get ON the bed alone but I was able to get OUT of the bed alone this morning when I did the incision check. That’s major, people.
Thanks for all the well-wishes! I hope to have the birth and post-partem story up for you in the next couple days. For now, Denis is doing a fantastic job of posting pics. With any luck I’ll take the stairs once a day to the attic and post something witty and urbane. You know, like how I’m really upset that Will got the boot from Big Brother 5 last week and how I may be the ONLY person in America that watched the entire Women’s Marathon from start to finish.
