Thanks to Kaizix on the Greymatter forums, we finally have the cookies set up so that those of you dropping your comments don’t have to keep retyping in your information.
I’ve been staring at HTML all day trying to figure out what I was doing wrong. I changed the HTML around in various ways and never quite got what I wanted. It would either keep the cookie information but not post a comment, or it would post the comment but not keep the info – but never both!
Upon seeing Kaizix’s code, I saw that I had a form within a form, which is a no-no in HTML. I’m sure in a day or two I would have realized that, but it’s nice to be put out of my misery.
So HUZZAH! Comment away, knowing that you’ll never have to type in your name twice!
